I usually go to Sarah and I have always had good experiences! She is super sweet and easy to talk to and I always leave loving my hair!

Needed a haircut and saw they had an opening the next day. Ive never been here before so I didnt know what to expect and because they didnt have very many photos on their reviews or instagram I was very hesitant. My appointment ended up being with Brittany, and let me tell you, that girl did me RIGHT. She was very honest with my hair health and gave great advice to all my questions. She gave me the cutest long layers and kept as much length as she could while still cutting off the dead ends. The blowout at the end was so girly and bouncy, I felt so adorable. Have gotten so many compliments on this simple haircut. Will continue to go to her for all my haircuts, I have never been so pleased.

Brittney S. does such an incredible job with my hair and she is so knowledgeable about so many hair types. She is a pro and is just magical when it comes to cuts and silky smooth blowouts.

Moved to Columbia and found this salon after reading the stellar reviews. Called and was lucky enough to get booked with Violet. She spent time and really listened to my hair goals. Cant wait for my next appointment! Would recommend this salon for anyone looking for a salon that is both professional and that offers a welcoming environment!!

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with things they do on a normal except for the makeup part. They did an outstanding job fitting me in to get stuff done for the zombie crawl. Im definitely glad I just told them to run with whatever idea they had because I was getting compliments all night. I didnt catch the name of who did mine but she did amazing. I know I was lot dressed right either wearing a jersey and she did good and didnt get a single stain on it. Thanks guys youre the best.

Such a cute salon! Everyone here is professional and so friendly. The owner, Micki, just radiates good energy. Ive had services by a few different stylists here and each one is so knowledgeable and kind. I get color done and its always done exactly how I requested, and they are so careful to make sure your hair stays protected through the color process. Love that they also support local artists by displaying their work in the salon. Great selections of products too. Definitely recommend!

I was worried I was going to have to settle for a hair salon I didnt love until I went here. This is the best hair cut Ive ever had AND the best experience. Sarah not only asked what my goals were and looked at my inspiration pictures, but she actually talked me through EVERYTHING. She looked at every one of my inspiration pics and told me why one would work better for me over the other and explained why she was cutting my hair a certain way over ways others have done it previously. All I had done was a haircut and my hair has never looked better.

Absolutely amazing.I went there on June 28th with Sarah for just a hair cut only. Im new to trying to find a hairstylist and havent had my hair cut professionally at all. Sarah did amazing! She was kind and patience with my lack of hair knowledge both listened to my goals and gave me a beautiful cut while also helping educate me on how to properly take care of my hair. She also didnt care that I was a bit quiet due to me being an introvert which made the experience very comfortable and welcoming. I definitely recommend this salon the overall atmosphere was great and the other stylist there were kind and attentive even though I was not their client, which was nice. Specifically I highly recommend Sarah she did a really awesome job! I love my hair now!

Brittney is amazing. Truly better than words can describe. My hair was dry and gross before going to see Brittney. Now my hair is thriving and gorgeous. This is THE BEST haircut I have ever gotten. Sarah P. was very knowledgeable and talented. She completely fixed the shape of my wavy hair and gave my fine hair some much needed volume. She was so skilled, I even asked her to fix up my bangs for me(I usually don't let anyone touch my bangs). Thank you! I can't wait to come back.

I went in today and had Kylie as my wonderful stylist today. She made me feel comfortable, she was so sweet, and her energy was just overall amazing. She made sure I was aware of the entire process and made the hair of my dreams come to life. I really love my hair and I can not wait to go back for more amazing hair styles. Moved here from Cali, and MK Lush makes Columbia, MO feel even more like home! MK Lush is now my go-to hair salon! When you walk in, the atmosphere is luxurious and calming. The interior is spectacularly designed and spotless. Samantha did an AMAZING vibrant color, cut, and style for me. On top of it all, it cost far less than I expected. I'm already looking forward to my next haircut and it's only been a week. I will recommend MK Lush to Columbia locals until I'm blue in the face (or hair ).

Wow! I had Marina Bahl as my stylist and she was awesome! This was my first time dying my hair. She was able to get it to match the purple color I was going for while also making my hair not dead or dry. I will definitely never go to anybody else again!

Kylie Phillips was amazing! I have dyed my hair at home for many years, many colors, many box dyes. I came to Kylie with grown out roots and orange hair. She matched my natural color perfectly and added some beautiful highlights. Although it took pretty long to get it all done, it was worth it! Marina Bahls at MK Lush is a wonderful stylist. She is an artist with hair color. Marina took her time with me as I was transitioning from dark to light hair because of my gray. It was a big but beautiful change. The keratin treatment has taken my hair from a frizzy mess to smooth and manageable.

Getting your hair done here is a great service and you definitely get what you pay for.Marina does a great job at coloring and haircut.Every time she trims my hair it grows way more than anywhere else Ive gone.

I got my first cut at Lush with Sarah yesterday. I am mixed race (black/white) and have curly hair. This is by far one of the best cuts I have ever had. The atmosphere is amazing and Sarah is a treasure. Prices are so reasonable, especially for what you get. Go there and feel like a queen/king!! Also, my mom also goes there and gets cut and color. She is literally the most picky person I know. She says its the best cut and color shes ever had, and she is blonde!

Marina Bahls is amazing & passionate at what she does! When I walked in to see her for the first time in December, she promised me she would get my dull, frizzy, unmanageable hair the way I wanted it and she did exactly what she said. She did a Keratin treatment on my hair and I went from tons of products and straightening my hair multiple times a day to not even having to straighten it after I wash and blow dry. I came here for eyelash extensions from Olivya! It was a super simple process and the salon was really cute and comfy. She was very precise and accommodating to my requests! This is a wispy volume full set. Its super voluminous yet very comfortable I can barely feel them on! Ive gotten so many compliments already and have already booked my next appointment. Marina is hands down, the best Stylist!!! I have always wanted a clean(not brassy) lighter blonde on my ends with darker, natural color on top. Im amazed at how precise, detailed, and patient she was during the process of lifting my hair to the perfect blonde !
Each foil, each piece of hair she painted, balayage, she kept in eye on. Letting it lift to the perfect shade, and No Damage !! My hair literally looks and feels healthier with her blonding then it did when I walked in with dark hair. Marina is so good at blonding that she doesnt even have to tone. She is detailed, kind, professional, and Im so lucky to have her now, as My Stylist! Seriously, Her work is top notch, you will ask her if she has done celebrities hair because she is that good!! Highly recommend, Im so happy I met Marina!!

I have lived in Columbia for about 10 years and after trying almost every salon in town, MK Lush is the only place that I have returned to repeatedly! I have seen Brittney every time for a haircut and partial highlights and I always leave feeling so satisfied with my experience and end results.
